The Province House of Seville will host until March 2, 2014 the exhibition 25 years, 75 watercolorists. The Andalusian Association of Watercolor Painters was created 25 years ago. For this reason, and to pay tribute this anniversary, 75 watercolorists of the group, consisting of more than 350 watercolor artists, have presented their work at the Province House of Seville. This exhibition will travel through the 8 Andalusian capital, being Seville the capital chosen to start with the exhibition.
Brushstrokes of art in the Province House
In this exhibition curated by José Ros García, artists have searched analysis between past, present and future of watercolor, with different themes and styles, where is possible to check the many possibilities and techniques of watercolor. Some of the 75 artists watercolorists has an important reputation as Paco Sánchez, Fernando Rodríguez Moreno, José María Franco, Carmen Márquez, Ahmed Ben Yessef, Antonio Hernando Sombría, Alberto Rafael de Burgos, Luis Lomelino, Manolo Blandón, Julio Hidalgo, José Carmona Almendros, Nicolás Angulo, José Manuel Aguirre, Lucas Prado or Julio Visconti. Accompanying the exhibition, there is a series of activities dedicated exclusively to promoting and spreading the art of watercolor, with workshops for children on weekends. Visit Province House of Seville, Square Triunfo, 1, and enjoy this exhibition until March 2, 2014 from Tuesday to Sunday, from 10 am to 2 pm and from 6 pm to 9 pm. Admission is free.
