On January 12, the temporary exhibition called Tras pasos del Pharaoh was inaugurated, with the purpose of celebrating in this way the 10th anniversary of the Hispano-Egyptian project for the restoration and preservation of the Temple of Millions of Years, which belonged to the Pharaoh Tutmosis III. Said project is directed by Sevillian Myriam Seco Álvarez. The exhibition will take place at the headquarters of the Cajasol Foundation in Seville, and it will be possible to visit it until February 11.
PHOTOGRAPHIC EXHIBITION AFTER THE PHARAOH'S STEPS UNTIL FEBRUARY 11TH.
The temple is a great architectural work, originally intended to keep alive the memory of Pharaoh Tutmosis III, who was able to erect an entire empire that ran from northern Sudan to central Syria. We can see the reflection of his greatness in his tomb located in the Valley of the Kings.
The exhibition shows us through a photographic gallery the advances made in this mission that just turned ten years old, and that has achieved very remarkable results in its development. The visiting hours are from 11:00 to 21:00 from Monday to Saturday, and from 11:00 to 18:00, on Sundays and holidays. Admission is free.
