The biennial of Flamenco in Seville will take place from 08th of September until 02nd of October 2016.
The biennial is a festival of international character on the world of flamenco. As every two years, it has its beginnings in the month of September and Seville serves as a show case for dancers, singers and guitarists of flamenco´s world, whether young values or first level figures, representing both the pure flamenco and new trends in the world of flamenco.
Biennial of Flamenco 2016
Since its origin on 1980, the Biennale this year celebrates its 18th Edition, which have been held for more than three decades. Below, we detail more information:
- Place of the event: due to the length of the Biennale, there are various spaces between those who will be present: Teatro Lope de Vega, Don Fadrique, Alameda, Teatro de la Maestranza and Real Alcázar, among others.
- Tickets: The purchase of tickets could be:
a) Through various points of sale online as general tickets, the website of the biennial or Teatro Lope de Vega, and the same may be picked up at the ticket office of Teatro Lope de Vega and Teatro Maestranza in opening hours 11:00-14:00 hours and 17:30-20:30 hours.
b) Presential: At lockers of Lope de Vega Theatre (from 11:00 to 14:00 h. and 17:30-20:30 h), from 16th of June until 31st of July (Monday to Friday 11:00-14:00 h. and 17:30-20:30 h), from 1st till 31st of August (from Monday to Friday 09:00-14:00 h; closed the 15th of August.) and finally from 1st of September in Schedule from 11:00-14:00 h. and 17:30-20:30 h. (closed Mondays and holidays without function.)
c) the day of the show at the own box office of the venue one hour before the event always that there is availability.
With the purchase of tickets purchased in advance, applies a discount advance sales from 15% of discount (Until March 15), discount. 10% from 16th of March to 31st of May and from 5% until 31st of July. The discounts are not cumulative.
