As is customary each year on these dates, at the beginning of November the Christmas lights were assembled to decorate more than 200 streets throughout the city and after waiting for the final date for the lighting of the festivities.

Christmas in Seville will be officially inaugurated on Friday 1st December at 6:30 pm and the lights will remain on until 6th January after the arrival of the Three Wise Men from the East.

The City Council has launched a promotional video of the program "Alumbra" in which images of the Christmas lighting last year and programmed activities that will take place this year.
Therefore, it can be said that you will see changes as in the Plaza de San Francisco where a ball of light has been installed, similar to the tree that will be back in Puerta Jerez, only that it will also have music inside.

They will also illuminate different and original motifs in the Avenida de la Constitución, as well as in the busy streets of Sierpes and Tetuán.

However, Christmas programming such as the ice rinks and the luminous mappings at the Prado and Plaza de San Francisco, respectively, has yet to be decided.
