GEIS XI INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM
The Spanish Group for Sarcoma Research (GEIS) organizes the XIth International Symposium Congress next November, 29th in Seville (Spain). This meeting will be held with the collaboration of SEHOP (Spanish Society of Pediatric Hematology and Oncology).
GEIS group has a special commitment with continuous education on sarcoma since its birth in 1994 and coordinates, within its Annual Meeting, a teaching program.
This year we are focusing on “DEVELOPMENTAL SARCOMAS”. In our country, territory boundaries have been emphasized in terms of medical assistance, guidelines and organization between pediatric and adult sarcomas.
Recently, Spanish Society of Hematology and Oncology (SEHOP) and the Spanish Group for Sarcoma Research (GEIS) have agreed in some protocols and clinical trials focused on osteosarcoma and Ewing sarcoma which is a good starting point. Therefore, GEIS and SEHOP have designed this symposium as a meeting point to keep on advancing towards an integrating vision.
