Blog Cross International Italica 2015

On Sunday January 18, 2015 the thirty-third edition of the Cross International Italica 2015 to be held at the archaeological site of Italica Santiponce Seville will be held. This year there will be two fun runs: a short, opening programming day at half past nine, and a long one at 0:20. International competitions will take place at the end, the women's beginning to half past one and male both. The Cross Italica is organized by the Council of Seville in collaboration with the City of Santiponce and the Junta de Andalucía.

Archaeological Ensemble of Italica

The archaeological site of Italica is located a few kilometers from Seville, in the town of Santiponce and is considered one of the most important Roman settlement on the Iberian Peninsula. Again the Roman city of Italica hosts this sporting event is considered one of the most important cross in organization and participation (3,664 athletes in the 2014 edition). Attendance at the Cross International of Italica, has become a morning of recreation and relaxation for many citizens who enjoy the effort of the athletes and the whole Roman archaeological beauties.
