In January 2018 at the Maestranza Theatre at 20:30
The classical ballet "Don Quixote", produced by the National Dance Company and performed by the Royal Symphony Orchestra of Seville, will take place next January 11 to 14 at the Teatro de la Maestranza in Seville.
It is inspired by the original pieces by Petipa and Gorski, choreographers and ballet masters who presented some outstanding works such as Swan Lake, The Nutcracker, etc..
A "Don Quixote" totally classic but with a Spanish touch
The work focuses on chapters XX and XXI of Camacho's Wedding and, therefore, besides interpreting episodes such as the struggle against Don Quixote and Sancho's mills, it is based on the misfortunes of Basilio and Quiteria.
The aim is to give greater depth to Don Quixote's character and to poetize the figure of the Knight in his search for the love incarnated by Dulcinea, his fantasy.
Tickets are on sale at the theatre's ticket office or on the Internet at an approximate price of between 30 and 60 euros.
Don't run out of them! Hotel Adriano is located just a few metres from the Teatro de la Maestranza, next to Torre del Oro, the Plaza de Toros de la Maestranza and the Guadalquivir River.
Visit the official hotel website where you will find more discounts and promotions for the date.
