The company Noviembre Teatro presents at the Teatro Lope de Vega one of the most important plays of the great Lope de Vega, one of the most important dramatists of the Spanish Golden Age.

The event will take place from 15 to 18 February 2018 on Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 20:30h and Sunday at 19:30h.

The play is classified within the genre of tragicomedy. Written by Lope de Vega in 1620, it is based on a true story that is told in several 17th century works.

This tells the tragic love story between Don Alonso, a noble gentleman from Olmedo and Doña Inés. Don Alonso, his servant Tello and Fabia the pimp he hires after falling in love with the young woman, do the impossible to fight Don Rodrigo and Don Fernando, lovers of Doña Inés.
