Exhibition A Universal Andalusian in Seville
The House of the Province in Seville (Plaza del Triunfo, 1) will host until November 17th the exhibition dedicated to the Sevillian artist Antonio Mairena "A Universal Andalusian".
This exhibition is entirely dedicated to the flamenco singer Antonio Cruz García, better known as Antonio Mairena because he was born in the sevillian town of Mairena del Alcor. His memories, his passion, his knowledge, etc... everything is reflected in this exhibition where we can see his two obsessions: the tradition of a series of flamenco figures that are part of his own universe, and his effort to leave a legacy, to be a reference in the world of flamenco.
He was a big fan of Manuel Torre, Joaquín el de la Paula and Pastora Pavón, and the City Council of Seville has wanted to pay tribute to Antonio Mairena with this emotional exhibition when 30 years since his death.
Book your hotel in Seville and enjoy this exhibition until November 17 Tuesday to Sunday from 10 am to 2 pm and from 6 pm to 9 pm. Admission is free.
