Exhibition about the Iberians in Seville
This exhibition will be in the Plaza de San Francisco until next October 30.
This is a sample with high scientific payload that aims to explain our origins : presents reproductions of works of art , models , audiovisual , photographs or prints to present everyday life in an Iberian settlement , its relations with the Phoenicians and Greeks , the importance of agriculture and commerce or the mysteries surrounding the disappearance of the Iberian language .
Admission to the exhibition is flanked by two large towers that simulate the entrance to an ancient Iberian people . Inside the sample is distributed from six areas: the historical context , the military organization and forms of government, daily life and business writing , the planning and architecture , and the funerary religion .
Thus, at the beginning of the show visitors can see the geographical and chronological context in which the Iberian culture develops through an audiovisual projection , while in the section on military organization Iberian people is fighting strategies , warring institutions , military architecture and equipment of knights and soldiers.
Also , you can view the activities that were developed throughout the day and utensils used in the most important tasks : agriculture , livestock and textile industry . In addition , the exhibition pays special attention to ceramics and metallurgy.
Finally , in this exhibition is reproduced actual size Iberian housing the tomb of the Lady of Baza (Granada ) , and two of the best known pieces of Iberian culture : the Lady of Elche (Alicante ) and balazote Bicha ( Albacete ) .
