Italica aspires to be named a World Heritage Site and the last scene of the seventh season of Game of Thrones has already been shot in this place, some scenes like the "Dragon Pit" of "King's Landing".
The reopening of Italica after the closing during the shooting of Game of Thrones
The amphitheater of Itálica was subjected to partial closings until April 24, due to the filming of the last scene of Game of Thrones.
Between April 23 and May 2, the amphitheater was completely closed.
The theater was restored in 2012 and in the summer they perform functions of Roman Theaters of Andalusia and every year they celebrate the "International Dance Festival of Itálica".
Full closing from May 3 to 8
3-18 May: the archaeological site was closed and only the theater could be visited.
May 19-27: you can visit the ruins of the city with the exception of the amphitheater and the Roman theater.
The archaeological site can be visited again as after May 29.
