I European Congress of Macula retinal patients will take place on 20 and 21 October 2017 at the Hospital San Juan de Dios in the Aljarafe, Seville.

The Retina Macula Association consisting of 4500 people between partners and family members affected by this disease, held for the first time a Congress at the European level. This Congress has a scientific and academic recognition.

The main objectives of this Conference are mainly focus on all the information and activities to fight against diseases of the retina and the maculo.

Friday the 20th of octumbre

Morning

-Presentation of the Congress in the city of Seville and reception at the Parliament of Andalusia.

Afternoon

-Opening of the Congress.

-Conference I: the age-related Macula degeneration, what should be our treatment today?

The current situation will be analyzed both at Spanish and European level and prospects of partners will be raised.

Saturday 21 of octumbre

Morning

-Lecture II: what situation are today treatments cellular and prosthesis for diseases of the macula and retina?
Afternoon

-Lecture III: what are them coming and that advantages provide?
