Gates of Seville. Yesterday and today, exhibition that will be in the Antiquarium of Seville until February 22snd.
The ICAS and the Seville City Hall offer an exhibition in which differences between the Seville yesterday and today can be observed, via a journey through the gates of the city and its walls.
Once in 1868 a part of the almohade wall that surrounded the historic center was destroid and began the expansion of the city, the city still preserving certain access that unite us with the time in which were distinguished where the meat was entered or for where the deaths went on the way to Carmona. The doors are no longer, but the sense for which they were designed.
In this exhibition we can see that there was and is no longer, but you can imagine. In the exhibition we can find many photographs and re-creations in 3D and touchables that help us to know how our city was long time ago.
And will you miss it?
