What better way to welcome Christmas with a concert of gospel , a classic in this time, of deep religious roots and demands, where no will be short of famous songs as Oh Happy Day ! , God is moving or I'm the Lord , among others. It's a mix of songs of freedom , songs of protest , religious, vitality and adorned with funk and blues.
This choir , now led by Jeffrey Murdock, has a long history , was founded in the late nineteenth century , and from then until now are known their tours in the U.S. , Europe , Latin America and Japan. The choir is made up of twenty artists , and is one of the most important groups of the southern United States. Have been highly successful and awards, most notably the Grammy for Best gospel choir received in 1997 .
