Since its inception the Municipal Band of Seville has witnessed and been part of the history of the city participating in important events: the visit in 1862 of Queen Elizabeth II, the Universal Exhibitions of 1929 and 1992 Inauguration RTVA seasons concerts, performances at the Bienal de Flamenco de Sevilla, Easter cries and cries bullfighting, recordings, etc. Right now the Municipal Band of Seville Symphony performs important work of preservation, dissemination and research Seville musical heritage. Thus, on Monday, December 16 at 20 am , will be the Christmas concert by the Symphonic Band , directed by Francisco Javier Gutiérrez Juan, at the Teatro Lope de Vega in Seville.
