Blog Pitingo in Concert in Seville 2018

Next January 9th 2018 at 20.30 in the Teatro Lope de Vega will be presenting the Huelva singer Pitingo his album Soul, bulería y más.

The artist, considered the creator of soulería, soul at the rhythm of bulería will cover songs from all national and international life such as Stand by me, Aint' no mountain high enough, A puro dolor or Sólo Dios sabe.

This is Pitingo's sixth album, which in 2017 celebrates 15 years on stage.

Pitingo, which in Caló language means Presumed, recorded his first album in 2006. An entire album with his own songs and accompanied by members of the Habichuela family was the beginning of his career, but it wasn't until he published Soulería in 2008 that his fame was extended.

Pitingo is part of one of the sagas of great tradition of flamenco singing, the Valencia and the Carpio. The singer has been a revolutionary in the world of flamenco, and despite having established such a particular style he considers himself a flamenco singer from the top to the bottom.
