Blog Regional and Local Mediterranean Assembly - Seville 2019

In 2019 the 10th anniversary of the Euro-Mediterranean Regional and Local Assembly (ARLEM) will be held, created in 2010 by the European Committee of the Regions.
The objective of the committee is to allow the political representatives of the countries that surround the Mediterranean Sea, to engage in a dialogue that favors interregional cooperation.

The 10th anniversary of the Regional and Local Mediterranean Assembly will be held in 2019 in Seville

Juan Espadas, mayor of Seville, has held several meetings with the Committee of Regions and Cities, to celebrate this anniversary of the assembly in Seville, continuing his fight to improve the international positioning of the city.
The Mayor has also wanted to explain in the ARLEM participate both political organizations and non-governmental organizations, in general, all kinds of organizations that want to collaborate to generate wealth in the Mediterranean.
The assembly is made up of 80 people, half of them represent the European Union and the other half represent the Mediterranean countries.
