Seville was promoted for the second consecutive year at the Arabian Travel Market (ATM), the Middle East tourism fair, held in Dubai from April 24 to 27, 2017, in the United Arab Emirates.
The Tourism Consortium has presented Seville's tourist offer in the Andalusian section of the Turespaña exhibitor, coordinated by the Spanish Tourism Office in Dubai, which focuses its action on the countries of the Persian Gulf: United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain , Kuwait, Oman and Qatar.
This is the second year that Seville participates in the ATM, with the pretension of capturing the market of Middle Eastern countries, a type of customer with high purchasing power and passionate about luxury and shopping.
Promotion at the Arabian Travel Market
The promotion strategy of Seville for the Muslim tourist is based mainly on the Islamic roots of its culture and heritage, its shopping offer, and for family tourism, such as the Isla Mágica theme park, and the capacity of the Andalusian capital to host major sporting events, which is why tourists from the United Arab Emirates usually travel.
The ATM is the tourism trade show with more relevance in the Middle East, becoming the ideal place to approach Halal tourism, in constant growth in recent years, and thus to make contact with tour operators, travel agents and other tourist companies of the area, to present the tourist offer of Seville, that will be based on the culture, the historical roots and the luxury.
