Blog Seville will host the European Summit of Tour Operators in 2018

Seville will host the European Summit of Tour Operators (ETOA) in 2018, an international summit of the tourism sector in which 200 agents will participate, and which will be held at the Palace of Congresses and Exhibitions Fibes in Seville in September, coinciding with the Flamenco Biennial.

In the European Summit of Tour Operators, the training for marketers of redefinition of destinations will be carried out, within the strategy of southern Portugal and Spain and applying innovation to tourism.

European Meeting of Tour Operators in Seville

Our city is a candidate to host the World Tourism and Travel Council (WTTC) in December 2018. This meeting will bring together the world's leading CEOs to discuss the strategies to be followed in the next 10 years in the sector.

In addition to the European Summit of Tour Operators, two other major events have been set next year in the World Travel Market (WTM). These will be the summit of the Association of British Travel Agencies (ABTA), which will work for the formation of the destination, and the 1st Ibero-American Forum of the World Federation of Tourist Cities (WTCF).

The Mayor of our city has set itself the objective of improving the tourist positioning of Seville internationally, and the celebration of this type of event will undoubtedly favor the image of Seville in this sector.
