The 11th Congress of Didactics of the geography will take place on 18 and 19 November 2016 at the Pablo de Olavide University of Seville.

The title of the Congress is "digital natives and geography in the 21st century: geographical education and learning styles" and is organized by the Association of Spanish geographers.

Programme of the XI Congress of Didactics of the geography

The program is divided into two topics: "Changes in styles and learning models and their role in the geography classroom" and "the environment and research as educational resources".

The Congress will be eating with a keynote on November 18 at 11:00 and will end with the closing ceremony on November 19 at 13:30. During the days that the event, there will be the following activities:

-Papers:

First presentation, November 18 at 12:00 o'clock: "Spatial thinking and geographical knowledge in new learning styles."
Second paper, 18 November at 15:30 hours: "the teacher table of population geography: a model for the exchange of educational experiences"
Third paper: November 19 at 09:30 o'clock: "teaching of geography focused on social and environmental problems: perspectives from the teaching and learning"

-Discussions - colloquia

The debate about the keynote and first paper on November 18 at 12:45 and debate on the second report at 16:00.

-Workshop:

"The qualitative work as in geography teaching resources" November 18 at 17:30.
