Blog Photoquivir 2018

Seville will become the European capital of photography on May 25, 26 and 27. For the sixth consecutive year and after the success of the past editions, at the end of May the Turifoto2018 event will return.

Turifoto-Photoquivir

It is the largest gathering of amateur photographers in Europe in which both photography lovers and amateurs and professionals congregate. In this event a great variety of activities are developed, such as master classes, workshops, competitions, photographic gymcanas, among others.

The programming offered is as follows:

* Friday, May 25: Night photography talk for 150 people in the workshop room of Martín Iglesias (Calle Sierpes, 25) from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. After this talk, each attendee will have a pass to go to the lookout tower of the Navigation Pavilion and thus be able to take nocturnal photographs of the city of Seville.

* Saturday May 26: Presentations given by José María Mellado, Mercedes Romero (travel photography), Javier Mella (nature photography), Iván y Paco (children's photography) and Débora Bretones (night photography). It will be at the Fibes Exhibition and Congress Center from 9:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and all attendees will receive a free t-shirt.

* Sunday, May 27: Photographic gymkhana in the center of Seville.
