The Palace of the Countess of Lebrija, located on Cuna Street dates from the 16th century and has an impressive collection of Roman mosaics, covering practically all the ground floor.
In 1901 the then Countess of Lebrija, Ms. Regla Majón bought and restored the palace for thirteen years although it was not until 1999 when her successors opened it to the public.
The palace is divided in two plants, the inferior one that keeps a valuable collection of archeological pieces of different styles, Roman mosaics, Seville tiles and paintings of Van Dyck, Sorolla or the School of Murillo and that has free visit; And the upper floor, which are the family rooms and can only be accessed with guidance.
The visiting schedule is as follows:
- July and August: Monday to Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Sundays closed.
- Rest of the year: Monday to Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Sundays from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
There are two types of tickets: Ground Floor, which costs € 5 or Ground Floor + Upper Floor, which costs € 8.
