Blog XXXIX Old Book Fair of Seville 2016

The XXXIX Fair of the Old and Occasional Book of Seville will take place from November 11 to December 8, 2016 in Plaza Nueva, in front of the City Hall. This year will have twenty-three exhibitors of bookstores in Spanish cities such as Barcelona, ​​Madrid, Valencia, Cadiz, Malaga, Granada or León, as well as Seville.

There will be activities parallel to the fair such as the lectures "Shelves of imagination and memory" and "Objects of attractive texture" in the City Hall, children's storytelling on Sunday mornings and the opening speech of the writer Juan Bonilla.

Friends Association of the Old Book

As in previous years, the Association Friends of the Old Book together with the University of Seville, publishes a book. In this new edition of the fair, the book "Curiosidades Sevillanas" by author Alfonso Álvarez-Benavides will be published and, due to his demand, will be the third edition to be made of this work.

The schedule to visit the fair is from Monday to Friday from 10:30 to 14 and from 17 to 21, Saturdays, Sundays and holidays from 11 to 14:30 and from 17 to 21 hours. Free entrance.
