Antje Schiffers in Seville
The exhibition "Welcomes are everywhere. Some cross-cultural stories" by Antje Schiffers reaches the Andalusian Centre of Contemporary Art (CAAC) in Seville.
This exhibition has been designed as a transition through their work, done both individually and in collaboration. The projects have been in collaboration with artists and with farmers, growers, artisans, workers and locals from many different countries.
The sequential ordering of the rooms of CAAC, was conceived as chapters of a story in which the work of Schiffers like the stories and the people involved in performing the same occur.
Thus, this new form of presentation is the most striking feature of the exhibition: the route itself shows the artist's career and, in turn, creates a story works, murals, drawings, video documentation or loans.
