Congress TNT 2013 in Seville
From 9 to 13 September 2013 the Foundation Phantoms organizes in Seville the congress TNT 2013 Trends in Nanotechnology. This is an annual congress, in which the Ministry of Defence has shown a particular interest in the area of Nanotechnology for Security and Defence.
The Foundation Phantoms is a European association that focuses its activities in all fields of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology. Its main objectives are to promote the exchange of knowledge, catalyze the collaboration between groups of R+D to international level and promote the launch of new projects.
Nanotechnology will have a great importance in defense and security and will involve important changes with respect to current systems. There are a lot of different applications of interest to the defense, as new optronic sensors and NBQ, nanomaterials for armor and bulletproof vests or quantum cryptography, in which nanotechnology can be vital.
