Exhibition about Egypt in Seville
From December 21, 2013 to May 4, 2014 the Egyptian craftsman Hany Mostafa presents an exhibition about Egypt in Seville. The Pavilion of Navigation in Cartuja Island will host this exhibition.
If you want to enjoy the Egyptian art, our hotel in Seville close to the Pavilion of Navigation has the best price.
The Treasure of the Pharaohs is the name of this exhibition where visitors will behold an authentic replica of the temple of Abu Simbel, built in 1284 BC by order of Pharaoh Ramses II. Visitors will also learn how it was ancient Egypt, customs, way of life, traditional dances, meals, etc..
The exhibition is divided in four rooms: a facade with four statues 20 meters high, two similar cameras to the original temple and the Sanctuary.
If the realism of the temple is breathtaking, the realism of the paintings and the architecture is great. Last year several Portuguese cities hosted this exhibition. After going through Seville, the exhibition will travel to France and the UK.
Visit this exhibition from December 21, 2013 to May 4, 2014, from Tuesday to Saturday from 10 am to 7:30 pm. Sundays and public holidays from 10 am to 3 pm.
