The Woman Ironing at Cicus in Seville
The Center for Cultural Initiatives of the University of Seville, Cicus will host on 25 and 26 April the play The Woman Ironing within the program "Estrénate".
The title is a tribute to the original painting by Pablo Picasso. In addition, the Woman Ironing is present in the play because all the theatrical situations revolve around her. Everything begins when the picture is exposed at the Reina Sofia Museum in Madrid. From there, different comical situations begin to happen, and the assistants to the exhibition will become the true protagonists: a reporter, a forger of artworks, two security guards during working hours...
