Theatre in Seville the doctor of his honor
The Space Santa Clara in Seville (street Becas s/n) will host from 26 to 28 September, the play "The doctor of his honor". It is a version of Juan Peña of the play of the great writer Calderon de la Barca.
The company Corsario presents this dramatic play set in Seville. It's a classic work because it is written by Calderon de la Barca, but at the same time is a passionate and current play, with interesting details to the contemporary audience.
During the performance we will see as honor is imposed to the human dignity or the unlimited power that some people possess can be very dangerous. Love, hate and jealousy come together during the 95 minutes of duration of this play where chance and destiny are also very present in the characters.
Veronica Ronda, Carlos G. Pinedo, Julio Lázaro, Luis Miguel Garcia and Rosa Manzano are some of the protagonists of this work.
